Mike Beard, former Shakopee City Council Member and Shakopee resident for 20 years, has proudly served the cities of Shakopee and Prior Lake as State Representative since 2002.
In his four years of State service, Mike has served on the following government committees; Transportation Policy, Government Operations & Veteran Affairs, Ways & Means. He has also chaired the Aviation Sub-committee, and Vice-chaired the Regulated Industries committee.
Mike also volunteers a great deal of time into the community by participating in the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce, the Shakopee Downtown Partnership, the St. Gertrude's Foundations, the Bethany Press International, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association.
